Your job: The tasks you will be assigned are multi-sided and varied. Along with preparatory work for our bookkeeping, you will be responsible for all payment transactions including invoicing and receivables management. You will also be able to independently conduct negotiations with clients relating to the assignment of rights of use. You will be responsible for drawing up final accounts relating to co-producers and licensees and their controlling with regard to licensing and co-production agreements, along with the monitoring of all related rights exploitation.
In addition, you will undertake accounting tasks with/for the independently operating subsidiary R.W. Fassbinder Werkschau and prepare annual accounts relating to other commercial relationships. You will also be responsible for travel expense reports and all other administratively relevant accounting and correspondence relating to the normal operation of an office.
You will acquire knowledge of an internationally renowned body of artistic work and will share responsibility for the accumulation and administration of accounting-relevant data relating to this work.
Your profile: You should have a commercial/business management qualification and be able to prove practical experience in financial and personnel management. Experience in the field of handling and controlling in areas relevant to the production of media and film is desirable but not a prerequisite. Due to the extensive range of international contacts involved, a very good knowledge of written and spoken English is a prerequisite for the position, and knowledge of other languages is desirable, perfect German in writing and talking is a Must. You should show a high level of commitment to your work, be prepared to work on a detailed level and extend the scope of your previous professional experience, and also have the capacity to deal with comprehensive issues independently. You will be an extremely important member of a small full-time and independent field team.
A good knowledge of MS Office is mandatory. The foundation works with a MAC system.
