June 10, 2007 - 25 years ago Rainer Werner Fassbinder died, his artistic oeuvre is still alive.

The Deutsche Theater in Berlin Mitte organized a Fassbinder Festival between June 04th and 10th, presenting an inhouse production of  "The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant", directed by Philipp Preuss, with Barbara Schnitzler as Petra, Ursula Staek as Karin and Valery Tscheplanowa as Marlene.

There is also a guest performance from Madrid of the Cráneos de Yorick Group, a spanish version of "Las Amargas Lágrimas de Petra von Kant"  directed  by Miquel Insúa.

On June 9th, Valery Tscheplanowa, the brilliant Marlene, will present an evening with Fassbinder/Raben songs, entitled:"Ich bin
die, die du vergessen hast" ( "I am the one you have forgotten").
