Premieres at the 59th Berlinale
The “special” series will feature the film essay IN BERLIN by Michael Ballhaus and Ciro Cappellari
This year the 59th edition of the Berliner Filmfestspiele (February 5 – 15, 2009) presents an impressive number of nearly 400 films from 60 countries. Among the selected works are two by famous directors and former Rainer Werner Fassbinder-collaborators now based in Hollywood.
Ulli Lommel’s ABSOLUTE EVIL premiered on Sunday, February 8 at the Zoo Palast. Repeat: on Tuesday, February 10 at 2PM, at the Kino International at Karl-Marx-Allee 33.

Another premiere we would like to bring to your attention is the documentary IN BERLIN by Michael Ballhaus and Ciro Cappellari. It will be presented twice in the Berlinale Special section: on 2/13 at 9.45PM, at the Cinéma Paris, Kurfürstendamm 211 and on 2/14 at 10:30PM at the Kino Babylon Mitte, Rosa-Luxemburg-Str. 30.
