Günter Lamprecht turns 80
“And I am still nostalgic ...”
On January 21, Günter Lamprecht will enter the world of the octogenarians.
He already published his extensive memoirs entitled “Und wehmütig bin ich immer noch” (“And I am still nostalgic”) in the years 2001 and 2007. Published in the Verlag Kiepenheuer & Witsch, the two volumes Eine Jugend in Berlin (Boyhood in Berlin) and Ein höllisches Ding, das Leben (Life, A Hell of a Thing) are eloquent testimonies of this unique vita.
Within his long career, the becoming one with the role of Franz Biberkopf in the film BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ (1979/80) still stands out as exceptional.
