WORLD ON A WIRE in New York
From April 14 to 19 at the Museum of Modern Art
Screenings of WORLD ON A WIRE at New York’s Museum of Modern Art are greatly anticipated. The two-part movie thus arrives at a place that has offered crucial support in restoring it during the past two years. As was the case with BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ, the museum once again acquired a 35mm copy with English subtitles to add to its inventory of some 20,000 films, further expanding its comprehensive Fassbinder Collection.
The Fassbinder Foundation thanks the Department of Film, Rajendra Roy (Chief Curator) and Laurence Kardish (Senior Curator) for the continued wonderful cooperation.
Juliane Lorenz will introduce the film on April 14 at MoMA.
