WORLD ON A WIRE on DVD in Britain
"Restored 2 Disc Edition" by Second Sight Films
The demand for the German version DVD of WORLD ON A WIRE in the ARTHAUS Premium series continues to be very strong. Now English fans can get excited about the UK edition. On May 17, 2010 our distributor for Britain, Second Sight Films, will release the "Restored 2 Disc Edition". This elaborate box set will contain a special feature, Juliane Lorenz’s making-of film entitled: FASSBINDER’S WORLD ON A WIRE: LOOKING AHEAD TO TODAY (with English subtitles), including the interviews with Michael Ballhaus, Fritz Müller-Scherz, Karl-Heinz Vosgerau, Moritz Eggert, Roland Blach, and Günter Rohrbach.
More foreign language releases are to follow during the course of 2010, another RWF anniversary year. We will keep you updated.
