Garbage, the City and Death to Premiere in Ireland
Plastic Theatre Company performs the piece in Dublin
The theater poster for the Ireland premiere announces “A notorious anti-musical about power, prostitution, prosperity, and prejudices.” Director Jane Mulcahy will stage the controversial Fassbinder play in one of Europe’s oldest theaters. Performances will take place at the Smock Alley Theatre, founded in 1662, from June 15 to 26, 2010 at 8PM. There will be a discussion on Thursday, June 17 as well as a matinee on June 19 at 2PM.
