RWF’s theater plays have been popular for many years. Recently, we began to notice a tendency where directors increasingly adopt Fassbinder films for the stage. The most current endeavor is ‘The Marriage of Maria Braun’ that premiered in Berlin and Vienna in February. We would like to inform all visitors to our website about this and encourage everyone to go and see for yourselves. Please note, though: What you will see is a staged version of the (German) text ‘The Marriage of Maria Braun’ – the viewers’ primary experience will thus be language.
