An Update on Irm Hermann
Irm Hermann, who recently premiered in Christoph Marthaler’ s “Heimweh und Verbrechen” at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg, was kind enough to send us an update of her upcoming events:
Starting April, 09 through April, 12, she will perform in “Glaube Liebe Hoffnung” (Horváth / Marthaler) at Milano’s Piccolo Teatro Strehler.
Between April, 14 and 23, she will be part of Georg Büchner´s “Woyzeck” (directed by Stefan Pucher) returning to the stage for 5 evenings, at Schauspielhaus Zuerich / CH.
On April, 25, the Deutsches Filmmuseum, located in Frankfurt and currently featuring the FASSBINDER NOW exhibition, will host an evening in her honor.
The topic of this rare and wonderful evening: Her long and close working relationship with RWF. The event will be rounded up by 2 movies, she was featured in:
Fassbinder´s MERCHANT OF FOUR SEASONS and THE 120 DAYS OF BOTTROP, a unique homage to Fassbinder by Christoph Schlingensief.
