Secondly: Our dear friend, the british artist Tacita Dean has started a rather important campaign with the goal not to only save the medium analog film and all related production and projection devices but also include it into the UNESCO world heritage treasure in order to protect numerous masterpieces from being deleted. Film enthusiasts worldwide as well as the business´big players are amongst the supporters: Actrice Barbara Sukowa, DoP Michael Ballhaus, film makers like Martin Scorsese, Jane Campion, Richard Linklater, Volker Schloendorff and Oskar Roehler have teamed up with artists like Marina Abramovic or Thomas Demand along with many more, to support this campaign.
