Hanna Schygulla’s “Traumprotokolle” (i.e. Dream Journals) at the Akademie der Künste, Berlin
A press release from Berlin’s Akademie der Künste announced that Hanna Schygulla has donated her archive to the institution. Instead of showing the material in a regular exhibition of the documents, Schygulla’s own video works will be featured. This is indeed an interesting piece of news, especially because we really know her as an actress and not as the director of her own works. She is also her own protagonist in her “Traumprotokolle.”
It would, of course, also be fascinating to find out at some point what is included in Hanna Schygulla’s personal archive and to learn about the hidden treasures that have never been publically shown before.
