RWFF News: RWF Retro in Tokio
It is with great pleasure that we announce a Rainer Werner Fassbinder retrospective in Japan: It will run from June 21 until July 4, 2014 in Tokyo’s Auditorium Shibuya. Organized by the Athénée Francais Cultural Center, Eurospace, this venue will be supported by the Goethe Institut Tokyo. This is the first comprehensive presentation of Fassbinder’s oeuvre in Japan in six years. There will also be three Japanese Fassbinder premieres: RIO DAS MORTES, WHITY, and THE AMERICAN SOLDIER.
